Study Tips for Provexar

To get the most of the system treat it like a real oral exam, not a quiz.

Answer like a pilot

For each answer, include:

Direct answer — answer the question first.

Source — ACS, FAR/AIM, POH/AFM, checklist, chart, weather, or performance data.

Scenario — apply it to this aircraft, airport, weather, passenger, or flight.

Decision — continue, delay, divert, cancel, or ask your CFI.

Use focused topics

Drill one ACS area in depth.

Stay with the scenario until you can explain the decision.

Do not stop at definitions.

Practice out loud

Speak in complete thoughts.

Avoid short flashcard-style answers.

Explain your why.

Useful phrases:

I would verify that in the POH.

The legal minimum is not my personal minimum.

I would delay until...

Use the right setup

Use a computer or tablet.

Keep POH/AFM, checklist, weight and balance, performance charts, FAR/AIM, and ACS nearby.

Use real-world references when needed: charts, airport diagrams, METARs, TAFs, and other aviation resources.

Review after each session

Look for:

Guesses

Weak ACS areas

Missing aircraft-specific data

Legal-but-risky answers

Poor risk management

Answers where you could not explain why

Then repeat the related focused topic.

Connect with your instructor

AI cannot replace a CFI.

Provexar can help show if you are ready and where lesson time should be spent.

Send your CFI your transcript, weak areas, and final evaluation.

Answer out loud. Explain your reasoning. Think like pilot in command.

Good luck on your checkride and your aviation journey!
